Lake Twelve is a beloved recreational resource for the Black Diamond community. The public boat ramp ensures that the lake is accessible to all residents — not only those who live on the shoreline — making it a true community asset for boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.
Lake Twelve supports an active recreational fishery enjoyed by families and anglers from across the area. Fishing season runs from the last Saturday in April through October 31.

Eurasian milfoil spreads almost entirely through boat and trailer transport. Every boater has a responsibility to prevent further spread into Lake Twelve and beyond.
Remove all aquatic plants, animals, and mud from your boat, motor, trailer, and gear before leaving any water body.
Drain all water from your bilge, live well, bait bucket, and motor before transporting.
Allow your boat and equipment to dry completely for at least 5 days before launching elsewhere.
A boat inspection station will be installed at the public ramp as part of the restoration project.
