Restoration Project
The Lake Twelve Association, with Stewardship Partners as our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, is pursuing a King County WaterWorks Council-Allocated grant to fund a focused, science-based restoration of Lake Twelve. Our plan centers on ProcellaCOR, the current best-practice aquatic herbicide for Eurasian watermilfoil control in Washington State — a selective, EPA-approved treatment applied at very low dosage rates with no restrictions on recreation, fishing, or drinking water.

Assessment & Permitting
GPS/sonar milfoil mapping; baseline water quality survey; WA Dept. of Ecology and WDFW aquatic herbicide permits.
ProcellaCOR Treatment
Year 1 full-lake ProcellaCOR herbicide application by licensed applicator (AquaTechnex). Spring timing is critical — treatment is most effective when new milfoil plants are approximately 1 foot tall and actively growing.
Monitoring & Spot Treatments
Post-treatment monitoring; Years 2–3 ProcellaCOR spot treatments as needed; community workshops and grant reporting.
